Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Basic Pedicure.

At Polish Bar, the Basic Pedicure includes a warm foot soak, nail trimming and professional shaping, light callus smoothing, a relaxing foot massage, and application of your preferred polish. Typical service cleanses, softens skin, and leaves toes neat and polished.

Most Basic Pedicures take about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on callus work and polish choice. Please allow extra time for heavy callus smoothing, gel polish, or add-ons; we recommend booking a 60-minute slot for full comfort.

Clients with diabetes or serious circulation issues should consult their physician before a pedicure. Our technicians provide gentle treatments and avoid aggressive callus removal, but medical clearance ensures the safest care. Always disclose conditions at booking.

Yes — polish application is included in the Basic Pedicure. Choose from our standard lacquer shades; gel or shellac may require an upgrade. If removing existing gel polish, an additional removal fee and extra time may apply.

We recommend a Basic Pedicure every four to six weeks to maintain nail health and soft, smooth skin. Individual needs vary with activity level, footwear, and skin type; frequent maintenance prevents callus buildup and keeps polish looking fresh.

Wear or bring open-toed shoes to protect your fresh polish. Avoid heavy leg products right before your appointment and remove existing polishes if possible. Tell us about medications, allergies, or recent foot issues so we tailor treatment safely.
