Yes in many cases; we assess your skin during a consultation. For active acne, open lesions, or severe irritation we may recommend alternatives. We use gentler waxes, shorter application times, and soothing aftercare to protect sensitive skin.

Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long, exfoliate gently 48 hours prior, and avoid retinol or chemical peels for a week before. Arrive with clean, dry skin and skip heavy moisturizers for the best waxing results.

Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, saunas, and heavy makeup for 24 to 48 hours. Apply an alcohol-free soothing gel or aloe to calm skin. Gently exfoliate after 48 to 72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and avoid picking the area.

Certain medications, especially Accutane and strong retinoids, increase skin fragility and risk of tearing. If you use prescription acne medication, consult your provider and inform us. We may postpone treatment until it’s safe, often six months after stopping Accutane.
