Get answers to common questions about Full arm, waxing.
Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Consistent waxing can lengthen intervals and reduce regrowth. Factors like hormones and exfoliation routines will affect how long results last.
You may experience brief discomfort as hair is removed, but our technicians use gentle techniques and high-quality wax to minimize pain. Numbing creams or soothing post-wax care can help sensitive clients, and discomfort typically lessens with subsequent visits.
For best results hair should be about a quarter inch (roughly six millimeters) long so wax adheres properly. If hair is too short waxing won’t be effective; if very long we may trim slightly for comfort.
Yes. Active sunburn, open wounds, severe eczema, psoriasis flares, recent chemical peels, or use of retinoids can make waxing unsafe. Inform us of medications or skin treatments and we’ll advise or reschedule to protect your skin and ensure safe waxing.
Avoid hot showers, tanning, heavy exercise and exfoliation for 24 to 48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid direct sun exposure. If irritation occurs, use cool compresses and our team can recommend gentle products to calm the skin.
Most clients return every four to six weeks for maintenance, though schedules vary with individual growth cycles. With regular appointments hair often becomes finer and sparser, allowing intervals to extend to six to eight weeks over time.
