Yes. Active sunburn, open wounds, severe eczema, psoriasis flares, recent chemical peels, or use of retinoids can make waxing unsafe. Inform us of medications or skin treatments and we’ll advise or reschedule to protect your skin and ensure safe waxing.

Avoid hot showers, tanning, heavy exercise and exfoliation for 24 to 48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid direct sun exposure. If irritation occurs, use cool compresses and our team can recommend gentle products to calm the skin.

Most clients return every four to six weeks for maintenance, though schedules vary with individual growth cycles. With regular appointments hair often becomes finer and sparser, allowing intervals to extend to six to eight weeks over time.
