Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and hormones. Regular appointments can lengthen intervals. We'll recommend a personalized maintenance schedule during your consultation.

Some discomfort is normal, especially at the first appointment, but we use quick techniques and calming measures to minimize pain. Consider ibuprofen beforehand and communicate sensitivity; topical numbing is used only when appropriate.

Make sure hair is about a quarter inch long and arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Avoid retinoids and strong exfoliants for several days prior. We perform a brief skin assessment and patch test as needed.

Avoid waxing with active sunburn, open lesions, recent chemical peels, or certain severe skin conditions like exacerbated rosacea. Inform us about medications or treatments that increase sensitivity for safe alternatives.

Wait at least 12–24 hours before applying makeup to reduce infection risk, longer if your skin is sensitive. Use gentle, non-comedogenic products and avoid strong actives for 48–72 hours post-wax.

Apply soothing aloe or fragrance-free moisturizer, avoid sun exposure, hot baths, and saunas for 48 hours, and gently exfoliate after four to seven days to prevent ingrown hairs. Follow your technician's tailored advice.
